Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Midrib, a research tool for finding, organizing and writing from related research. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Midrib.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your email current so we can reach you.

Your content

Your projects, drafts, notes, uploads and reviews stay yours. You give Midrib permission to store and process them only as needed to run the service for you, for example to build your graph, check your citations and provide writing help.

Only upload what you have the right to use. See the Terms of Use for what isn't allowed.

AI-assisted features

Summaries, groupings, feedback and writing help are produced with AI models and can be wrong. Check them against the sources before relying on them. You're responsible for the work you submit.

If you add your own API key, your requests go to that provider under your agreement with them, and they bill you for the use.

Plans

Paid plans, billing and cancellation are covered by the Terms and Conditions.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where we reasonably can.

Disclaimers and liability
